Following On Flickr

I'm not sure I've got the right forum and apologies if it is.

I've came across some very ispirational photographs on Flckr and I want to keep the pages linked with my Flickr account. Is there a way of following someone, do you just click "Add as a contact"? Is there some sort of protocol when you do this? I don't know Flickr very well although I've had an account for some time and I don't want to come across as some sort of stalker.

Just add them as a contact. I don't think people on Flickr spend too much time worrying about how they come off, judging by all the rubbish posted on people's photos.

Or, if it is links to specific photos you want to preserve, rather than the photographer, you can click the star icon above the photos you particularly like and they will be added to your 'favourites', which are shown on your profile page and also on the Favorites link.

yeah i wasn't sure at first, wether adding a contact was like adding a friend on facebook, but really its just means you get a daily update of what people you like have posted!
