Im going to start looking at buying another folding octabox.I bought one a while back, only used it a few times and a wire snapped where it holds the spoke type parts together. This wasn't a cheap octabox so im a bit hesitant about buying another but its the ease of use which is drawing me to want another.Or does anyone repair them.I believe it a well known brand on this forum( I wont mention names though). If it cant be repaired then what do you suggest- just occasional in door/home use.

If it's one of ours then it shouldn't have broken and all that you need to do is to return it to us.
We put problems right, but only if we're told about them...

Gary, I would have contacted you straight away however I didn't buy direct from you.I have it sitting in its box for months now but I was out photographing dogs at a friends house at the weekend and I went to put it up and remembered it was broken hence my search for a replacement.

You may want to consider looking at the Ezybox II Octa - comes in two sizes, can be used with studio (with the appropriate adapter), speedlights (up to two at the same time) or the Elinchrom Quadra Ranger. Comes in two sizes, grids available, inner and outer diffusers, collapses down to a third of it's size...Can also be used with the Quad Bracket which will allow you to use it with up to four flashguns. The larger Octa is a personal fave, so I'm probably a bit biased. :)

That's very kind Garry .
