Going on Tuesday - what was the best deal anyone saw on a D700?

Also looking at the 105mm micro vr lens

no real bargains then. When will the price really drop if at all. When will we get a replacement?
 
Spoke to Nikon before I bought mine and the official line is that they won't replace the D700 until later in the year and I was wary that they would do the same with the D700 as they did with the D3 i.e It all got a lot more expensive. So I bought 2 D700's while I could because they are pretty much perfect for my needs and the price is good for what it does :)

Did you get yours from Kerso?

I am tempted to go for the D700 as I need a camera having sold my Canon gear. I am currently shooting a little Nikon D5000 that I got from the States. I have to say I love the thing.

I now wish I had got the 700 when Grays were offering £350 of vouchers with it. May try them again.
 
Apart from Grays does anybody know which other shops issue the Nikon vouchers.
