Hi,
A question for anyone who has knowledge of how the hidden central AF points work. I took a large number of shots using the centre AF point only, focussing on the face of the performer, usually the eye. The rear screen on replay appears to confirm the hit where I aimed. I was using a 24-70 at about 15-20ft range.
However, I found that when I review the shots a lot are not sharply focussed on the face but pick up the microphone or something else. I wondered whether it is my technique or the AF system.... I also took some shots with the 70-200 L IS and the sharpness was generally much better..
Any thoughts?
Cheers,
Dunc
