FOCUS LIGHT NOT WORKING

Ive got a nikon d80 and the focus light is not working. does anybody how i can fix this.

If I remember correctly, it only works on "S" focus mode - have you got your camera set to "C" or "M"?

Failing that, (I've not used a D80) there's an option in the menus on D200 and D40 to switch it on or off..
