focus going

say if a camera got dropped off a horse, one with a fixed autofocus lens. is it likely that the camera would then start having problems focusing?
the camera has since been replaced, and i've had a look through the pictures that got taken after the incident and pretty much all of them are out of focus.
could multiple droppings be why?

I would thinks it's highly likely the autofocus motor could have been damaged. How many hands was the horse?

Could just be knocked out of calibration.
