weekly FlyPhots 52 for 2023 - Week 42 'Forgotten'

Two nice shots, first one for me as like a bit of blue sky.
Been looking at the K&F filters, don't think I would use them an awful lot but price seems reasonable as a kit compared with others. Have seen good reviews but wonder how many of the reviews are biased due to free samples/payment

Both nice landscapes composed to fit the theme Jim. I like them both, as I love a good landscape, but also am drawn a little more to the second one.

Nice smooth pictures there I can't pick a favorite, they are both good.

Thanks all, nice of you to drop by and comment. :)

Nicely captured without turning the water too milky and having some definition in the clouds. I too prefer the perspective of #2.

Thanks Helen apologies for the late reply, i've been working away this week.

Catch Up for me.

Week 15 - Snappers Choice, taken in Holes Bay, Poole

Week 16 - Connected, well we all seem to need to be these days, in various ways

Week 17 - Liquid, I love the way milk goes into my cup of coffee and mixes with those patterns

Nice set of pix Jim :)

Nice set Jim - the snapper's choice would have worked nicely for liquid too. I like the sparse simplicity of that shot a lot.

Well handled reflections for connected.

And good capture of the milk going in. Well timed to have the clouds coming up but before it all mixes.

Nice set, really like the coffee pic

Thanks all, really appreciate the kind words, it's been a bit of a busy period for me over the last few weeks so i've had to grab shots where I could, this also means i've been lax in commenting on the posts of others too, so apologies for that.

No apologies needed Jim.

Nice catch up. Timing of liquid was very good!

Not sure you'll get many distant views with those binoculars! :D

Well spotted, good take on the theme

Nice street (party) photography :D

Thanks Helen, I had a sudden flash of inspirationn when this woman started sing 'I Am The Music man' and did the Dambusters theme. :D:D:D:banana::banana::banana:

Week 19 - Fragile

Does what it says on the tin! Like the composition might have just trimmed whatever that is on the top right hand side out.

Week 20 - Robust

well, it's actually Robusta coffee beans, but it works for me

Well thought.
As good as Arabica?

Thanks,
as good as yes - slightly different, yes (a bit more 'harsh/bitter' if you like)

Good shot, good idea.

Two good shots Jim.
Good eye to catch the Fragile shot.
I was thinking of a similar thing for the Robust shot but couldn't find a coffee shot serving a Robusta

Thanks Bill, we grind our own coffee so we always have beans in the house.

Love the coffee beans.
Combined with the word "Robust", I can smell the coffee.

Week 21 'Nearby'

we have a stables nearby and they have a few paddocks in the lane where we live, this paddock backs on to our garden and I noticed these 2 horses shining in the evening light tonight (I also reduced the saturation on the grass to give the image a different feel), so here is my image for 'nearby' ...
