got an in house one already and get some practice in at work, but want proper jobby cos i,m looking at changing employ. £250 for two days is pretty good

Doesn't sound too bad that.. Mines all expired now (if I wanted a job as an FLT driver, I'd probably have to take a refresher), as I don't do dirty hands work anymore

mattyh. i dont think it expires as such. but your advised to do a refresher every three years or so.
unlike my hgv licence. medical and reaply next august.

Yeah you're right, doesn't "expire" but no one will employ me as a FLT driver now without putting me through a refresher, which they gotta pay for

amasing what different folks pay too . min wage upto £8.50 per hour.
may stick with hgv,s but its another qual. got an interview wednsday wit a recruitment company a mate works at. 8 jobs going . min £8.50 per hour.

I've got a FLT license as well. Most of my test seemed to be reversing a load through a slalom and round some tight corners and putting it on a high shelf.

yup. thats it. theres a written test too, and a fair bit of h&s.
you can score upto 40 mark down points on your practical. i got 18. the guy with me at the time used to be a full time forker, and got 20. 96% on the written. pleased.
bit forked off about the viscious cold i have now tho from that bloooming draughty warehouse. £250 was realy cheap tho. some quoted £400 +.
