The concept is to get out and shoot a photo of a flower, on normal expeditions, with your film camera and share it, (for pleasure)

Rules.

Must be shot on film, No digital conversions to a film ' Look', or digital conversions to a particular film 'style'.
The flower of the plant must be the central theme of the photo, not just an image with a flower in it 'somewhere'
Must be shot and developed in the current month.

Guidelines

A common or native British flower photographed in the month of its bloom. Jan-Dec 2026
Drop in or out of the challenge as you see fit.
Colour or Black and white film
Wild, potted, cut or arranged.
Indoors or outdoors.

No Chit Chat in this image thread.

I will start off with a couple of snaps taken during the past week.

I was attracted to the aroma of this plant before I found a carpeted area full of flowers and the delightful scent of Vanilla.

Wayne, the developing times for FP4 Type 517 are typically quite long; the sellers' recommended time for HC110 dilution B is 14 minutes or 7 minutes in Dilution A.
The list of times is here - https://www.analoguecameras.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/ILFORD-FP4-TYPE517-1.pdf

The times for Adox HC110 should be the same as Kodak HC110

I've done a couple of rolls in D23 replenished at 14:30

I found this development chart from the sixties which details the original FP4 film and used this. :)

I like how the scene in this shot has turned out with the very high contrast being contained. although next time would give another minute I think.
