Florida Mel 52 for 2010 - Week Eight added

Speed... I like it... the fireworks have worked well... and whilst it doesn't shout speed, the sparks sure come out in a hurry...

Present... Now that's an interesting present... I think it's almost there... I think it would look better with exactly the same amount of each mug on view, and a little more space to the left of the handle.

People... I recognise that sign and place :D... I was wondering if we'd see something from there, given the station.. I wonder if cropping to a vertical panoramic at the right hand column would improve it, making it a centered image, but I think it'd be more balanced that way.. The vertical composition would be improved too. Possibly even cropping down to the top of the sign, removing the chopped bits of the roof. I think it's got good potential, just needs a wee tweak. It's got people in it so it's on theme, I can't think of the right way to describe it (that's so rubbish of me :() but the people here work for me.

new job and broken lens would have finished me off so good you haven't given up!

those cups are great.. like your people shot too.. as mentioned shame its not more centered but still, it fits the theme perfectly.. great in B+W too..

Mel, I see what you were aiming for, I guess the sky was rubbish, and the high key look, I'm not sure though, as the yellow it all seems a bit bright... It looks like meccano too, so it's clearly mechanical and on theme so :thumbs:
