Hi there..iv just purchased a set of florabella actions set..the spring set..for the price im slightley disapointed to be honest.Im thinking of maybe purchasing the big classic work flow set which is over a £100.Has anybody had any experiences with florabella presets? have they got them? how often do you use them? are they worth the money?..im asking this as i only have photoshop elements 9 for now and this does me well for now..im in no hurry to practice illustration or graphic creations as yet..but often im very limeted to recording actions as you can in the bigger version of photoshop.
Has anybody got any recommendations for PSE presets and effects? decent prices or even free ones?

thanks for reading

I have a lot of florabella actions and tbh the classic workflow one is probably the one i use the most. Most of these work best on pictures with great bokeh i found. Also you need to play around with them adjusting the settings, not just take what it gives you. Mixing actions from others sets also helps but starts becoming expensive

The subject helps a lot
Most of Florabella's examples are small children outside giving the Actions plenty to play with such as lens flare, softness and vingette
You have to select the layers created by the action to suit your image,
Have you watched the video tutorials provided, there are plenty online.
Join her facebook group as there is more rescources there too.
Have fun!

Paint the Moon has some lovely actions as well, much in the same style with a few free samples as well.

I think paying £100 for action for PSE 9 is a waste of money to be honest- as the actions cost more than PSE 9 / plenty of free actions around if you google

Ive just bought Photoshop CS5 and dont pay for any actions- I search the net for freebies, but I am a Tight sod :lol:

one of mine with a Florabella action or two

Thanks guys..i may purchase it then..although i have a small graphic design certificate/qualification..im not the best at editing photographs..as im to impatient..when i do an edit and really concentrate..it can take hours of minor tweaks, then im never happy and resort back to using just levels and contrast. So florabella does help with the timing..can take about 1 hour or less to do one..so there great for quickness.I do adjust the layers in the actions..i find the spring collection does not suit any of my studio work..looks really fake and even pink..but i see the classic workflow does more portrait tones and ideas..Will defo try the paint the moon ones..even download the free ones..and see what there like b4 purchase..Wow Mark i really like your image..hich ones did you use? i like the haze on it.

thanks again guys
