these are the phenomactions in portrait pizacc http://www.portraitpizzaz.com/phacco.html
I'm just looking for something that'll just give a slightly different look to some images, and although I use CC, my skills aren't good enough to work out how and what or to create my own actions yet.
Tracy, I was looking at Muse and /or colour & light, do you use these?
I suppose it depends a bit on the action (and the customer) but for special effects odd colurs etc I'd say they don't sell that well. We tend to put one or two 'clever' pics in the album selection, but they'll be things like a multi exposure or fancy lighting effect, or maybe a sepia, what doesn't seem to work for us are odd colours, the pinks and yellows of some actions. People just think the colours off or something.I have wondered about using actions and have looked at the Floraballa sets as well as others.
What i'm not sure is how much would a client want a photo that is'nt natural and possible looking too edited?
Do photos that have had actions added sell? It does seem to be something that you see a lot in american photography.
Then the next question comes is, how do you present them to the client, do you take the lead and apply actions to photos for the client or do you leave them as you would and then offer adding the effect to them? how do you advertise this.
