For a studio? Great for large amounts of uncontrolled reflected light bouncing everywhere. As for the floor, again for a studio(?) to be honest anything hard and smooth if you aim to extend paper or vinyl across it.

If you're going for white you'd better have a lot of space or, as Paul said, you'll have a hell of a time controlling that light.

Apologies was in a rush with baby. Yeah for a studio guys. Not got that much room, just bigger than the average sized garage. Keep walls as they are?? Just brand new plaster board

In a small space you want something to eat the light like dark grey.

Plain plasterboard, being both matt and grey (lightish) will be better than painting the walls white, matt black is the best option (if a bit oppressive). Is the area going to be just for a studio, if so can you justify black or a very dark grey, if not perhaps look to black fabric which can be pulled back, or perhaps polystyrene boards which can be painted, then stacked in the corner when not in use. Still leave the ceiling though:D The area I use is very light and small the issues with light being reflected from the walls can be very intrusive.

I have a bleached wood effect laminate floor and then a selection of THESE which are so thin and light that they are a doddle to lay on top of the laminate and swap around for different looks. Same stuff is on the floor in the shot I posted on the thread HERE.
