Sue and I have been in York visiting her parents this weekend and we nipped to Bridlington yesterday to see my Grandparents.

We decided to leave the cameras at home because we didn't think we'd have chance to shoot anything.

So far this weekend I've seen the best light and the clearest skies I've seen for about 6 months - the frost on the grass and around the pond at her mum and dads this morning looks amazing. The sunset yesterday and colours around dusk were out of this world.

So, that'll teach us, won't it? :p
 
This weekends nice weather was forcast on Wednesday..;)


I won't be sat here too long either as the weather is much too good to be sat indoors.:)
 
I think it happens to us all at sometime Matt.

Still lesson learned.
 
When I think I don't need the camera because I will not have time etc I have started taking my old 5mp Nikon 5700 with me. Its a small camera and means I dont miss out.

However, every time I look at the pictures I always wish it was taken with the SLR for that little bit more detail/DOF/Colour/Sharpness.

Going to take the 5D out for the first time this afternoon with Double_agent. you watch, I will find nothing of interest now! such is life.
 
And here I thought you folks were all familiar with Murphy and his family...

Rumour down here has it that they hail from your part of the globe :lol: :bonk: :bonk:
 
It looks fab out there at the moment. Such a change from all the grey rubbish weather we've had this winter in general.

Possible snow forecast for later this week. I'll believe it when I see it though :(
 
We had a beautiful day yesterday - bright blue sunny skies, you can see just how lovely in my pics i the landscapes section of sharing. Today was meant to be the same but dawned grey and foggy and isn't looking like improving much.
 
Would swop with any of you folks any day!!!

For the last month or 2 we have had HOT windless blue-sky days mid 30's Centigrade and higher with about 1 in 10 days with a bit of rain which in turn pushes up the humidity:help:
 
So the moral of the story is..... ALWAYS take the camera with you ;)

I think its mostly down to the horrible weather we've been having the last few months - its getting lighter now and things are looking up and its picture taking time again!
 
We also passed what looked like it was the beginning of a hunt meet in sledmere as well, and I arent going to get into the while hunt issues, but the colours and horses are great and had we had the cameras I would have stopped to try to some photos.

Typical weekend to be without the cameras.
