Flip side AW 400 hand luggage

According to the specs on Lowepro's website, yes it can used as carry on luggage.

I've used a fastback 400 as hand luggage many times without any issue so I'd say it would be fine.

Great news and saves me needing to buy a smaller bag!

Which airline are you flying with?

:plusone:

Some go by weight, some by dimensions. Some are flexible, others less so. Check with the relevant airline as to their restrictions and don't complain if the bag fails to comply with them. Far better to live without a lens than to have the whole bag stuffed in the hold!

Ive taken my 400aw as hand luggage with quite a few airlines and never had a problem

I've used the flip side 400 on quite a few flights and the only problem I've had was with Monarch who weren't happy about the weight although size was fine. I just took two lenses out and put them in my coat pocket, they reweighed the bag said it was now ok then watched me repack the lenses and didn't say a thing. Why waste my time and theirs I don't know.:D

Since getting this bag three years ago I have travelled with it on 20-30 flights on a multitude of different airlines, ranging from EasyJet to BA. Never had an issue, even with lens hoods and bits strapped to the outside.

It really is a great bag, I've subjected it to all kinds of extremes but it's still in excellent condition. Buy it and enjoy.

Edit- when travelling it is always full to bursting, and just fits in the measuring cages.
