Is anyone else experiencing problems with flickr. The site framework loads instantly but the images take forever, if at all, it is so ****ing infuriating.

I have tried the flickr help menu and asked on the forum without success.

Anyone got any suggestions?

I also have a similar issue with Google, very slow and intermittent, everything else is OK.

I've been having the same problem for the last 3 weeks. It's driving me mad. I contacted flickr support and they said they were having issues. I then received an email saying they had solved it. It seemed alright for 2 days and then useless again. I think I will be cancelling my pro account next year.:bang:

No - I've got Orange broadband, and problem is occurring on IE, Opera, Firefox, Safari, on my laptop with Win 7 and Desktop with Vista. I just think that Flickr have overstretched their servers.

It's still a bit funny with me. Main page photos load ok but the set cover ones seem to take an age. Most odd. Guess they ought to replace the hamsters...

even on my crappy 2mb adsl its nice and fast in all browsers.

you sure your ISP isnt having contention issue?

Keep hearing about these problems with assorted sites and have never had a problem with BT
