Flickr - where are my hits coming from?

I've noticed on one of my recent Flickr uploads that a lot of hits are coming from photos on explore, but those photos aren't from contacts of mine, and my image itself isn't in explore. I can't work out how I'm getting hits off them...

An example - from stats, this is the "source" of many hits:

There are lots of other similar examples - at least six different explore images.

And this is the image which is getting hit from these explore images:

I'm a bit confused - can anyone explain what's happening and where these hits are coming from?
 
How do you know that the hits are coming from people with photo's in explore?

Hi Matthew,

Sorry - still rather confused. My image isn't in Explore - what's confounding me is how someone clicking on an image in explore (an image not from a contact of mine) gets to see my image at all!

Ah - that explains it then - thanks!

My first thought was that my image must be in explore (a first for me!) so I used one of the online "have you been explored" sites and it told me that I hadn't. I also looked at some of the images which were hit "sources" on explore and didn't see my image.

Since the big changes to Flickr about 12 months ago I've noticed that Flickr Scout from BHL doesn't work for my explores anymore and I've never found a service that works even close to as good as the scout used to
