Yes
just a quickie....

How do I link my Flickr page to a photo on this forum.

Do I need a "pro" page??

Mj

Have you got that the right way round?

When many posters post a picture they have their flikr link posted as well.

I find it useful as I can see the settings of a particular photo and see their other work as well.

I only have a free flikr page but can't find out how to get a link to my free Flickr page.

There's a tutorial post that describes how to do this in detail, with pictures, elsewhere on the forum.

You use the Share button on Flickr (curved arrow usually bottom right on the photo page), you then copy the BBcode option for the size of image you wish to share and paste into a post. The link bits appear by default (I choose to delete these bits manually).

Since flickr make some changes a few months back made it pretty much impossible to copy the bb code link using a tablet like an iPad. It's easiest to do it on a desktop where you can use control+C to copy the link.

I'd try again. I remember a while ago it became at least extremely difficult to post linked Flickr images from Android devices. Then after a Flickr update and an Android update it became trivially easy, from tablets, smartphone, whatever.

I don't seem to copy it easily on an iPad/iPhone. I can't seem to highlight the whole link and select copy.

On Android a long press on the link selects it all.

I can do it fine on my iPad?

How do you do it? Is there a trick to it?
Ok its easy. Click the three pointed 'share' logo to the right of the 'home' logo and it'll bring up the menu and simply select BB code, its size and copy. Then paste it into the thread.

Just tried that and I can copy the whole link as it's all visible. It's the website I'm having trouble with. Thanks for your help with that, it makes it a lot easier.

Help. I don't see any of that either looking through the browser or the Flickr app.

Can you point a techno num0ty in the right direction?

It's probably because you are using the mobile version of the flickr website. The link above is not a photo link where the photo appears in this thread, it's just a copy of the website address that is now a link as it's recognised by the forum software. The B&B code link allows the photo to appear in the thread, much easier than having to click through every time.

At the very bottom of your photo it says flickr.com. Clicking on this takes you to the flickr website (non mobile). From here follow the instructions by odd Jim.

The above was from the Flickstackr (re Flickr) iPad app. I think the principles are the same though.

Thanks. Can't seem to find that on Android. Maybe it's just an Apple thing!
Actually yes, googling it shows its Apple only. Strange, it's a great app!

Yes, it looks good. That's why I was frustrated at not being able to do the same as you. Ah well. That's life. Thanks anyway.
