Hi guys, for one of my university modules I'm doing a questionnaire/study on the use of tagging in Flickr. If any of you Flickr users on here have 5 minutes spare to fill in a simple online questionnaire for me, I'd REALLY appreciate it. Completed, good luck with your work. What exactly are you hoping to ascertain from your study?
 
It's just for a small module, more to show we can gather data and write up a paper properly. I'm expecting to find that people tag more thoroughly with more photos/experience. Some of the questions are there to see if anything else affects those results, and the couple of qualitative questions at the end are there to help gain more general insights into how the system is used by individuals.

Brilliant stuff - responses are coming in thick and fast, which is good news!

All of this is going to feed into my final year project, which will be a desktop based media tagging system, which will hopefully feed up into Flickr and support plugins to autodetect photo features and suggest tags accordingly, as well as encourage the re-use of similar tags from a tag dictionary built up with use.
