Flickr stats wrong ?

So, I see that one of my photos that I put on Flickr today has 11 views..but when I go into the stats I see


How does that work then ? by damianmkv, on Flickr

How can that be ? 11 today but 10 all time.. I had another last week which ( at the time ) had 3 views in the stats but when I went into the individual photo, it only had 1..
 
I' haven't a clue but I'd guess it would discount yourself in the stats?
 
I think it does that anyway ( not that in the habit of viewing my own shots as I know what they look like :) ).
 
I think more and more people are viewing photo's away from Flickr, on sites like Fluidr and Flickriver so that would affect the view count.
 
Many people left Flickr and went over to 500px.com as I did.
 
Thanks - it's not the end of the world. It's just odd..
 
I've witnessed this a few times these past few weeks, one photo had 23 favs 12 comments and 10 views??

Not that many have left to go to 500px. And I know of a few who "left" Flickr and then came back when they realised that other sites are not quite the same.

I noticed this discrepancy before between number of views on stats and number of views on the actual picture page.

I think that the difference, it turns out, was due to Flickr's stats service being set to GMT and not British Summer Time (GMT +1), so some views were being attributed to the previous day because of the time difference.
