Flickr stats got me wondering

My most viewed picture every day is one I took of a fox in the garden a few years ago. It's not like it's anything special but it's literally always my most viewed image.

Could it have been linked to some other site or something. It doesn't really bother me but it's got me really interested ?

Please note this is not click bait and I'm not really asking anyone to look, just some feedback on ideas why.

I think you can check where your views are coming from? Generally mine just show Flickr or sites like TP where I've embedded and shared them

My most viewed are all on American Pinterest pages for some strange reason.

The annoying part is that they can link to my images but I can't even get onto their pages due to that panel sliding up asking you to register to view. Should I be really, really nasty and make those images private so all they'll get is a blank square?

Back in the day when people nicked/linked my images without asking I use to exchange them for something "inappropriate" instead
