If you have a lot of non-public images you will now have to change to Flickr Pro or risk having them deleted.

'The above changes mean that for free accounts, photos over the 50 non-public photo limit or any moderate or restricted photos will be at risk of deletion. If this sounds familiar, it should.'

Note - If you want to publish NSFW or risqué images on line then Flickr will now allow it, but for Pro members only.

Just keeping themselves in business ,nothing wrong with that ,you can’t expect them to provide a free public service can you
 
I wasn't asking them to - I think their prices are quite reasonable for the service they provide.

I was simply passing the information on so that people with free accounts didn't end up losing their pictures.
