I want to enable a 'friend' to download my Flickr photos at original size (public setting is 1024px max), preferably crtain albums only but all if I can't do that.
I've been through a search of the Flickr Help Forum etc but can only find a link that now no longer exists, probably due to the recent takeover.
Can anyone talk me through how to invite a friend please?

What happens if you share an album via email? Are they not able to download them at full size?
When sharing an album containing public & private images, you get to select if all photos are shared or just the public ones.
I'm not sure if this allows downloading/saving of images if you're flickr settings have been set to block downloads. Viewing certainly should be possible in any event.
I always use the share link for this & will paste it into an e-mail myself if sending it that way. IIRC their e-mail share just embeds the same link into an email written on their software.

I have the 'default' download size set at 1024px, even sending a link doesn't alter that.
I have 'Family & Friends' only set to download the original size ... but I can't work out how to put someone into the 'Family & Friends' category.

Are your friends signed up to Flickr? And if they are are they following you?

Don't know about the phone, but on the desk top, if you click the list of people you are following there is an option alonside their names to edit their status.

There should be an option to change their status, more likely on the desktop rather than the app.

If you go to your list of followers, there is a column on the right called "You list them as..". You can click edit and mark them as friends and/or family.

Brilliant, it was as simple as that ... but could I find that out from Flickr?
Many thanks for your help.(y)
