Flickr groups

I went on to Flickr earlier and realised a was joined to over 100 groups. Most of them were a load of crap, and there were some relating to things I was interested in when I got my first DSLR. Equipment groups, some flickr central rubbish etc etc. I had no idea I was joined to so many.

So, ive been having a group cull, and am now down to 9

I joined quite a few some years ago, but rarely visit them anymore.

I keep putting off doing the same, i'm in around a 100 groups but considering i don't even shoot much anymore most are pointless...

Is there a quick way to delete the groups? I find I have to go into each and leave them individually - Will take ages!!!

No, I had a long look around earlier and individually was the only way unfortunately. However, I did find it quicker to do it on the android app than on the PC.

I'm in the same boat. As you say we add them as our interests change or we visit/photograph a different place etc & they just build up!!
