Flickr any advantages or not.

I used to have a flickr account, but when they re-arranged there web site, i did not bother to go with it so closed my account. I use photobox to link my images to places such as here.
I am wondering if its worth opening another flickr account and ask is there any advantages to having an account besides the normal show case of ones images.
