Thanks Guys we went this morning at 9-40 and stayed till 2

annimal which way do you go, we go down Jamesons road no we havent done sunrise/sunsets there yet we talked about it today so we may go soon

as i said upthread you cant get in at sunrise/sunset its locked up.
i havent been another way in yet but i think it is possible to walk from Stanah, about half an hour walk. i have walked it half way but it started peeing it down so came back
i will let you know when i find an out of hours way in
 
Animal,I haven,t been on the docks for years,but at one time you could get on the docks at the roundabout before freeport,

You would then go around to the other side of the marina,and you could get down to the wrecks that way.

If I get a chance ,on tue or wed next week,I,ll check it out.

It would be no walk at all then, but you can bet that they won,t let me on the docks now......:lol: :shrug::help:

If there is a get together I would go.:thumbs:

as for directions

M6

M55 for Blackpool

Come off for Kirkham and Fleetwood

Follow Fleetwood and Freeport signs.

When you get to Fleetwood outskirts you will see a big Roundabout with Eros.... Yes I said EROS as in Picadilly

Go right around the island Taking the 3rd turning for thornton

Go past the first turning for Broadwater holiday camp (caravan park)

But as soon as you pass it "2 yards" turn left for the tip,

You go over a small bridge, follow the road round,go pass the Tip entrance
and it leads you to the marsh nature reserve.... as said though ,whatch the opening times.......

your not allowed on the docks any more and i am unaware of an entrance via freeport, will update if i find one
 
I like the shots with the tide in Dave, more grass and water and a lot less mud :thumbs:
 
thanks Mark yeh I like it with the tide in too as you get reflactions, but you can get closer when its not for detail shots :thumbs:

Animal no didnt get muddy yesterday, except for my hands and coat as I pulled the rope out to use as a lead in :thumbs: oitty you didnt manage to get over there to meet us would have been good
