Now that the seasons are changing thinking about going to Flatford to photograph "the trees" and river on the Stour featured in Justin Minns' book. However my initial internet research suggests the footpath is closed. Can anyone provide an update please ? It's a location I've not been to previously

The footpath is officially closed but I walked from Flatford a week or so ago and it is currently passable but wellies would be a good idea. Alternatively park by the river at Dedham and walk along the Suffolk side of the river from there. The famous three trees are looking a bit battered at the moment but there are still lots of nice trees along that stretch.

Thanks for the update Justin - apologies for the delay in replying - I didn't seem to receive a reply notification
