No
I want to get a flashgun, but so many available.
I am a beginner but getting more advanced. I want to get a good flashgun but which one?

I have a Sony a35k

Since you didn't look further down this Page for relevant threads or appear to have used the search function I suggest you start there

The thing with forums is that people aren't going to keep writing detailed posts several times a day, I made the effort to answer a detailed question with a detailed answer barely 30 minutes before you started this thread, which by the looks of it a total minimum of effort has gone into. Do you want to spend 20 quid or 2000 quid?
Yes my post might not have been the most pleasant (I'm not going to make a huge effort for people that can't do the same themselves) but it contained advice that would most likely have answered your question.

As it stands now with your response however I assume that other members will be unlikely to help in the event that they get the same well thought out, intellectual reply

The problem I have is that u have no right to have that attitude with anyone on here. If u know your stuff that doesn't give u the right to respond to someone with a short cold reply with attitude, I have looked through the threads and it doesn't help me with what flash I would need or what flash I would suit. I find it rude to just come on to someone else's thread and interrupt and ask for myself. Hence why I started up my own thread with what I wanted to find out

If you're not happy with people starting new threads then don't reply. No need to be nasty about it.

I'm afraid I'm no help with Sony stuff but if you give folk an idea of what you will be shooting, your budget etc I'm sure someone will be along to help.

And your right with that. Though there's a difference between me saying things out of line and saying things that will help. That said if you had read the most recent thread about flashes then I would have thought your op would be more detailed since I alone asked the thread starter several questions. Likewise I'm sure others have also given useful advice there.

Neil - the problem I have is when no effort has been put in, either to do some background research or provide detailed information, it's not much incentive to spend a break in work typing out a lengthy response
