Hi all, a bit of background first. Last weekend I shot my first event, which was a night cycle in London. My kit consisted of 5d3, tamron 24-70 2.8 vc and 70-200 vc. Canon 430 exii flash. Sure enough as can be guaranteed at midnight the rain started a constant drizzle through the night. My camera and lenses all held up fine and although my 430exii was ok I was a little nervous.

Since then I have been approached to do another identical event, however this time there will be more pressure as I will be employed. I don't want to run the risk of my flash packing up and missing vital shots so I am looking for a replacement, my requirements are it must have a reasonable focus assist lamp as it will be pitch black apart from the bike lights and it must have reasonable weathersealing.

Your recommendations are invited. Budget wise I guess no more than £200

large zip seal freezer bags work a treat and take up no room in your bag, just make sure you aren't pounding the flash at high power.

Ziplock bag and laccy band now in bag :D However those Aquatech AWS system look quite good as an overall camera solution. My only question is how do you access the zoom/focus ring?
