What make of camera do you have...as U will also bed a set of triggers to fire the flash...? There is a cheaper route if U are just starting out...illl send U some links tonight...

Canon 5dii, I was going to buy a couple of cheap RF triggers from eBay (probably the rf-603)...

I recently bought a spare pair of 602's on here...(already got a few)...but thought my spare transmitter was on the blink...(it turned out to be a dip switch in the wrong position)...so in short I have a pair of 602's to spare now...(I was going to change to 603's, but they have a problem with falling asleep and not flashing apparently) I also have a one of these flash and umbrella brackets that I used as a spare... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Umbrella-...uipment_RL&hash=item1c22961c72#ht_2330wt_1037 ...if you are interested I could post them both for £27 Paypal gift....

But I diverse...

Have a look here for the umbrella... http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_1&products_id=109857 ...its a multi use so shoot thru and reflector...its where Ill buy from next time...also got a cheap light stand http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_1&products_id=105297 ...

Even if your not interested in my stuff the other 7dayshop gear looks okay and they are a good seller...I have used them quite a few times...

Thanks for the advice, I'm pretty set on the 603 over the 602

Those are a lot cheaper than the lastolite kit, thanks :) - is that stand high enough? 2m doesn't sound very high
