What are some good projects to do with a flashgun? I already have (colored) smoke photography lined up but want more things to do.
 
Long exposure outside while running around with the flash gun 'popping' stuff.

If it has a strobe feature (like x No of flashes with y interval) you can get some good stop frame / trail shots in the dark, of running, jumping, golf swings etc. Kinda hard to explain.

Have you got a remote trigger?

ooooohhh good idea. i dont have a remote trigger sadly enough but the flash has a wireless slave function that i can control from my camera
