Flashgun for Sony A390

i was wondering if someone could advise me whats the best non expensive flash gun for a Sony Alpha ?

I currently use an old Minolta 2500D which suffices at the moment, mainly as iv spent a fortune since buying the camera at xmas and need to slow down

well about 50/60 quid to be honest as like you i've spent quite a bit on lenses etc already i've had the camera a month ooops

The 2500D is nice, it has bounce capability and you can get a diffuser for it. worth considering, I got mine for £29.99 unused in the box and love it.

I didn't want to part with lots of money prior to knowing the full extent of what a better flash would do.

Not used this one, looks good though and definitely worth a go at the price.
