I'm looking for a cheap flashgun for a 60D, I tried the Jessops 360 one but it would only work on full flash, I need one that will do fill in flash at 1/16 to 1/4 power. Any suggestions?

If you have a look at the Nissin Di622 MkII I think it'll be close to what you're after. It's similar in power output and features to the Canon 430EX II, it's E-TTL compatible for automatic adjustment, can be used as a wireless off camera flash with the right body (IIRC the 60D will work it wirelessly) and is manually adjustable for flash output so can be used as fill in flash.

You should be able to pick one up for under £100 on ebay (I think Digigood have them for sale and they are reliable as well) or have a look on google. Both the wife and myself have the larger Di866 (similar to Canon 580EX II), I have the MkII and the wife has the MkI and she used to have a Di622 and they are very well made, solid and reasonably priced. If you want to use it for Fill-In flash then I would make sure that any FG has HSS - High Speed Sync. Otherwise your max shutter speed is restricted to the X-sync speed of your camera, which on a 60D is 1/250th second I think.
High Speed Sync is useful for shooting with Fill-in flash outdoors with wide aperture, which you need for good background bokeh for portraits.

I would go for a Canon 430EXII, even second hand, rather than a cheap third party FG, which may or may not have HSS.

Thanks for advice, I'll take a look at the Nissin one, I can't justify the cost of the Canon.
