Right, I'm after a flashgun that has TTL and only to be used on camera (bounced) for my XT1 mainly weddings/events. Will this be powerful enough, used to use a 430EXII on my 7D and had no problems, but i don't understand how to compare flash power. Other option is the Nissan i40 which is about 3x more expensive and when I need 2 or 3 or these it's quite a difference!

Thanks for your help.

A guide number of 32 seems pretty measly to me but it depends where you're shooting of course.

Might have to bump up the ISO when taking shots from a far, guess anything bigger will start to get way too top heavy!

This answer isn't going to be very helpful but it's the best I can do...

There is, as always, very little hard info in the listing. The only real info is the guide number, which they claim to be a "high" number of 32, that is in fact a very low figure, which probably indicates very little power.
But, guide numbers for hotshoe flashguns are rarely accurate and in any event are always calculated with the zoom setting on maximum, because this inflates the guide number. With this particular flash, they don't tell you what the zoom range is and in fact they don't even say that it has a zoom. My guess is that it has very little power.

Have you read the reviews? I'm guessing that you haven't, as they don't inspire much confidence.

If you're using it for weddings and events and earning money, why not just buy something that's up to the job, you'll be making money and need to spend some too.

If you want to do bouncing, fill ins outside, etc I recommend you get a tad more
power than IN 32… YOU SHOUILD SPEND THE MONEY ONLY ONCE!

It has no zoom range as you sussed out, thanks for the help though. The flash options for Fuji TTL are VERY limited and I'm guessing when they catch up all these units running on current TTL maybe useless...the other option has GN: 40m at ISO100 @105 but has other disadvantages such as no light up LCD or light up buttons, less adjustable compensation etc. Neither are ideal :(

mainly typical town halls etc

Ok, sell up and buy a D750.
This may be a sensible suggestion - TTL (if you really feel that you need it) has very limited availability on cameras other than Nikon and Canon, and of course high spec triggers are even more limited - the end user market is just far too small for manufacturers to sink money into product development.

Maybe I could try manual flash for bouncing, would make life slightly more difficult but it's not not doable.

Thanks for your help people.

I have the Meike version of that, absolute bargain of a flash for the money. it has a decent kick to it, well built lots of features, I never thought I would have a wireless OCF in that price area...

obviously it is not going to cut it in every situation, you would need to take a more powerful full size flash with you, like you say for bouncing at distance.. this is not necessarily a bad thing though having 2 flashes for different uses that can also manage to act as a backup..
