It'll all be explained in season 8 when they've had time to think about the ending and have cashed in enough
 
There is to be no more its been dropped,the public of the usa did not take to it.

It was initially intended to be a short 12ish episode series before expanding it further. The network decided to have it as a full season, with a BIG gap in between a show that shouldn't have been dragged nor left on a break to lose many interest. It is also because of this lost of interest, the network then decided to axe it.

No season 2 and you get a dragged out version. Yay for money well spent ABC.

The network didn't decide on the gap.. they had no option.. that was the writer's strike in the US.

Shame it's been cancelled, it was quite good in a quirky way. I could never decide if the hobbit was a good guy or a bad guy.
 
I wondered why it just stopped, I was watching "Hung" around the same time but that seems to have disappeared without trace
 
Love flashforward, a bit upset that there not making any more. It was just a bit slow at first but once it got going it was great.
