flash triggers

what camera are you using?

Try and get the rf603c as they take aaa batteries. If you want on with ttl you need yn622c.

Hi Nick
Turn the flash on S1 and use the on board flash to fire, try manual on a low power, or the ttl and flash in S2

I prefer the RF-602 because the transmitter doesn't use AAA batteries, and is much smaller and lighter. The battery lasts forever because in the 602 the transmitter is only active when the shutter release is pressed. With the 603, it's on all the time.

New RF-603 Mk2 looks best of the lot though. Faster, locking foot, switch where you can actually get at it http://flashhavoc.com/yongnuo-rf-603-ii-released/

@ukcyberboy - Simon i had a little play with the flash today, took a photo of my wife and daughter, nothing special just a snap. had it set at 3/7 power on manual and it fires spot on.
Pretty overcast day but its came out ok i think. Like i say still a lot to learn but i'm sure i'll get there.

I'll only have the one speedlight so will just be firing off the trigger.
@HoppyUK do you have any problems with the rf602 fitting in the hotshoe mount? is it a snug enough fit?

Nick

602-TX is a perfect fit IMHO. Slips in and out easily, but is securely retained by the spring tension of the pins. It doesn't need to be locked down because it weighs nothing.
