Flash triggers for Sony

I'm looking to get a trigger + receivers and was wondering what Sony users are using. I found these on Amazon, anyone used them?

Hi marc i have the sony a300 and 2x hvl-42's and i got them same ones, working a treat so far and best of all no extra adaptors.

Hi! I got A850. I used simillar (diferent shape) and have great results. I dont know about A700 but on my old A200 could not go faster then 1/125. with my a850 can go easy 1/200. i use them with my studio lights, also used them with my minolta program 3600. worked great. I am sure on ebay you can find them much cheper. just search for PT-04 tm.

Paul, I found them on ebay and they're from the same seller but actually £4 more expensive. Given that I have an Amazon voucher to spend, I think a decision is imminent.

alright then as I said. my was ones that you attach to the tripod so they cheaper about £10 but those you posted are better for studio lights

Ordered them just before midnight Tuesday, arrived this morning.

Hmmm, interesting. The channel switch on the receiver is switched off when mounting the HVL-F58AM onto it. I had to use the sharp point of a knife to switch it back on. The ad on amazon states that it is compatible. :shrug:

but the cable doesnt seem to fit in the hotshoe doh!

They seem to work very well apart from the HVL-F58AM channel switch issue.
