hey all!, just wanted some advice:) its almost may again, which means for some un-known reason... i get cravings to buy camera stuff...:D more than usuall... anyway, I am currently in need of a flash set up, for a shot ive had planned for ages... but never got round to...

it requires 3 flashes, all remote released... now after much reserch I have a pretty good idea of what i want, just three flashes, that are capeable of manual control, and can be fit to a remote trigger...

what i have in mind are:

a CTR - 301 P, with three triggers

and these flashes

Canon 430ez
canon 420 ez
nikon sb27

to go with my 40d

opinions?? will it all work?? it says these flashes are compatible, so im presuming it will... but thought id ask the experts before buying :p:D

thanks

Some people have had issues using TTL flashes with ebay radio triggers (if that's what your looking at). I bought a set off another member because they didn't work with a Nikon gun, and they didn't work with the Olympus gun I had at the time. I actually went out and bougt a 20 year old flash fun for about 10 quid in the end

420 ez doesnt have manual control so you will have to leave it at full and vary its distance/use ND filters though I don't see anything insurmountable depends on this planned shot

post piccies after :P

i got a set of pt-04 of ebay and i use a jessops 360afd all manual good flash for the price, i would reecomend 1
