Flash problem HELP!!

If its canon, its sounds like a faulty lead!

I bought an off camera flash lead from jessops and it did the same, took it back and they exchanged it, the new one worked a treat.
 
Jessops leads suck!! i got one and it died the day i got it!! i took it back a couple of days later MINUS the receipt but saw the guy that served me, said he couldnt exchange it as i didnt have the receipt.. even though id payed by card.. i dont like them anymore...:razz:
 
funny you should say that i half expected the same response so i picked one off the shelf and fitted it to my camera and flash and checked if it worked. when some bod noticed i was there i explained i was swapping this dud for this one. he did not object.

Wow.. i might just try that!!

I WAS going to go in and buy another one.. then swap it out and return, i end up with two but at least they'll both work!! lol..
 
i ended up getting a Canon one.. its perfect.. so anyway!! lol..

I dont want to wast having a usless one here.. even if i can get it swopped id be happy as id only use it in an emergency..

Take it back, and get a credit against a Canon one. Sometimes cheap can be a bargain other times maybe not. Unfortunately there is no way to tell the difference
 
Never had a problem with my Jessops one.
