I have been looking at flash poles and have been looking at these

Part of me was tempted just to get a monopod but this seemed like a better alternative. I could only find one review but it wasn't very complimentary so wondered if anyone had any direct experience.

Dear me, how much?

I use one of these:

It's a decent item. Folds smaller, goes bigger than the Lastolite.

Fits a standard manfrotto boom knuckle joint.

Wish it had a filed flat section to the spigot head and a hook for weights, but heyho...

No, it's not as light as a painter's pole etc, but I'm not the one carrying it!
