Flash Light for a Canon 1000d. Any recs?

Budget of no more than £100 (unless completely necessary)

Would want one which would be best to improve shots at parties/dark environments. But could also be used for portraits too.

I'm likely to be having a trip to Warehouse Express so if any are available there it would be ideal.

if you can stretch a little bit more you could get a canon 430ex(mk1)last one on ebay went for £117

I have just bought the Jessops 360AFD.
