Hi,
I got a Nikon D5000 with a Jessops 360 flash gun a week ago.
I have the flash and camera set to automatic, however it sometimes puts out that much light the subject is a complete whiteout.
An example of what is happening:
I had my subject stood with a solid wall behind her, there was no distance my camera could have been focused on. She was stood 6 feet away from me. When I check the back of the flash there is a little black line under the distance of 60ft!
Is it something I am doing wrong? Is the flash faulty? or is it just a poor quality flash?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Melanie
