Yes
I want to get a Nikon ttl flash sync cord but cannot find FITP's thread:thinking:

Can anyone point me please?

hes not selling at the moment, taking a break apparently..

Went to spend his money in the bahamas?:D:)

Funny that the Chinese delegates are in town this week though!!

This is a real shame - I'll now have to brave the minefield of eBay to get some of the strobist kit I want :shake: Unless anyone can recommend somewhere reliable ad informative to get this type of kit? I'm looking at the budget end of the market! ;)

Is it an SC-28 you're after? I bought a copy from Link Delight on that auction site. Haven't seen a Nikon version to compare it with, but it seems pretty good quality to me for the price. You do have to wait a week or so for it to arrive from China though.

Might actually work out a little cheaper buying from their American site - $16.99 there which is £10.62 at current exchange rate, but will be more at Paypal exchange.

I am in a similar position as Nik. I wanted to get a set of yongnuo rf-602's off FITP rather than try and work out which of the ebay sellers are reputable. Can anyone recommend an ebay seller of these that is ok?

Link delight.... or any powerseller on ebay really - if they're a powerseller, you WILL get your goods - it's far too easy for a couple of bad ratings to lose them their status and cost them a fortune. You're protected by ebay and paypal anyway :)

I have seen this one from a UK company. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RF-602-Canon-...uipment_RL&hash=item230da51e61#ht_3968wt_1177

It looks all good to me. The only question is what the hell all those "extra" cables are?
It says it comes with "Strobe Sync/Trigger Cable: Coiled red aluminium screwlock Rx to mono 3.5mm, includes a 3.5mm to 6.35mm (1/4") adapter. Stretched length is 1 metre. ONE supplied with each receiver purchased."
BUT doesn't come with "C3 Transmitter to Shutter connector cable for Canon 1D, 1Ds, EOS-5D, EOS-7D, 40D, 30D, 20D, 10D (and others in this series)."
Which would I need to that I can connect it to my 1DmkIV to use it as a shutter release for long exposure work?

cotswold photo are good too, and UK means you get it quickly :)

it comes with cables for connecting to a studio light only.

If you want to trigger your camera with it, yes, you need to buy the C3 cable that is in their ebay shop.

Linkdelight are a great company. I bought a 450D battery grip and it's the exact same as the canon.

I bought mine direct from the US. Can't remember the site just now but I've got it bookmarked at home.

Slightly off topic, I've been looking at Cotswold for the 602's as well, but they sell different sets labelled as Zone 1 and Zone 2. As I can't find a reference to that anywhere else do you have an idea as to what it's referring to?

Assuming you're UK, you want zone 1.

their 'zones' are so that they can offer all inclusive prices including postage and all applicable tax rates to different international customers.

Oh FFS- you mean it's a geographic selling zone rather than part of the kit?

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! :D

My RF-602s came from Cotswold on eBay. Good price and service.

Likewise, bought flash mounts, stands and other sorts off Cotswolds, they are super quick and answer any questions in a prompt manner.
