Lately I've been doing a lot of work in dark venues and although I am happy with the diffused lighting I can acheive with my flash, I've become a bit annoyed with the results as itt tends to take a way a lot of the atmosphere. The catch 22 is, without flash I'd have to max out the ISO @ 6400 and shoot at a sliver of a DoF or nuke the place and light it up manually. Then theres also the nasty spotlights casting gorrilas eyes on the B&G, so I have to contend with that too.

Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Generally its on camera with either a bounce card, directly onto a wall behind with a black foam on the front.
