Flash Help

Hope anyone can help with this query.

I have an old but working Vivitar 3500 Zoom Thriystor Flash would the voltage on this unit be OK with my Canon 400D. Obviously only works in manual mode

I have read somewhere it would be OK, but as anyone got first hand Knowledge of this unit

Any help would be appreciated.

I have just gone through the same process of questioning regarding a Vivitar flashgun, I was directed to this for help

It looks like yours may be ok, but its all a risk...lol

It will be fine on a 400d. It was only the 300d with the low trigger voltage.
