Hope I can explain this ok as there are loads of options out there!
This year has seen me upgrading all of our kit and I want to change the flashguns I have to work on 2 systems.
Currently, the full frame kit is a Pentax K-1, with a D500 bought for wildlife work. The plan is to sell the Metz flashguns that I have for the existing Pentax kit and replace them with flashguns that I can use on both systems, if this is possible.
There are a lot of options out there including Yongnuo, Neewer, Godox, Shanny etc. and what I would like is the flashguns with wireless radio built in and a control box that I can trigger from either camera. As I will be keeping a Pentax flashgun for on camera use with the K-1, it makes sense that whatever I buy will be Nikon TTl versions so I can use them on camera with the D500.
Budget will be what I can get from selling the existing guns so hopefully upto £300, which means that I can get something like this which I hope I can trigger from both cameras.
So, does the plan make sense? Can anyone tell me from experience if I'm barking up the wrong tree? All help greatly appreciated!
