flash good or bad

Hi i was looking at buying this flash

Im new to this so i dont really no what im looking at. Im after somthing thats gona im prove my night pic's

My monies on 'it's no good'

Looks like it's 'auto only' and so you may as well get a used 420ex for not much more and guaranteed to work perfect.

Or, better still, a used 430ex or 550ex that has 'manual' flash as well as auto if you really want to learn flash photography.

Dan, just to let you know that the 420ex is 'auto only' so you will be better getting a 430ex or used 550ex.
