Flash for Yashica Mat EM?

Can anyone tell me what flashes might be compatible with this (assuming the first roll of film proves it to work ok)? From some searching it seems it might take a 'PC Sync' lead and then presumably any flash that uses this type of lead?

you can use nearly any flash, if you have a adapter. I use pc sync cable > adapter to hotshoe > yn wireless transmitter.

the yn 560 have pc sync onboard too, under a flap

That's what I hoped. I'd actually like to use one from around the same period, somehow seems like it would feel better than hooking up a modern flash to it

Try looking at Metz 60, plenty on ebay. Old candlestick style would match a TRL perfectly.

Had a quick look, found a cheap one but no battery in the pack. Seller says they're readily available but a quick search turned up blank....

If you get a flash of this age do check the trigger voltage before using it on a modern camera.
