Just noticed ebuyer selling 64GB thumbdrives for £24.
You have to wonder if eventually there will be affordable 1TB+ drives like this.
You'll be able to carry your entire life's work of photos at max resolution, plus 50 movies on a keyring.

maybe one day as larger SSD become more and more mainstream so hopefully driving the costs down and leading to development of smaller, higher capacity semi conductors.

the trouble with SSD as a backup is the decay rate when not plugged in there not really suited for backup purposes

pen drives on the other hand don't suffer the same and can retain data indefinitly
