Flash diffuser choice

Having recently brought 2 x yongnuo 560 yn iv flashes i`m looking for diffusers and whilst i like the Gary fong version the cost is quite high, but the other option is the stofen style is it woth spending the extra?

Learn to bounce it, better still get it off camera and in a softbox.

I've recommended a softbox in the past, I'll see if I can find the post, I use YN622 triggers,

This is what I'd recommend, cheap, well made, easy to put up and gives you an accessory mount that will help you get other modifiers that'll still be useful once you move up to studio lights

On camera, if you have to use a diffuser, try the lumiquest quick-bounce or a rogue flash bender.

Not sure if the yn622 with work with the flash the OP has, he may have to go for the yn603. I know I cannot adjust the settings for my yn560 iii from the triggers, unless I am missing something.

Thanks guys, i have hahnel trigger system so even if they don`t work on ettl i`m ok to use them manually

Lumiquest QuikBounce and Rogue Flash bender would be on my shortlist. My other favourite is the Black Foamie Thing (google).

There are dozens of these accessories around, some better than others, but they all owe 95% of their success (or otherwise) to the environment, eg a white ceiling, wall etc that then becomes the primary, and much larger, light source.

You can from the YN560TX transmitter for all but the earliest yn560iiis.
